A national competition for a motto of a 10 year communication strategy for the NATURA 2000 network has launched

A national competition for a motto of a 10 year communication strategy for the NATURA 2000 network has launched. From the 1st up to the 20th of November, DICON GROUP will collect proposals for the motto.

The eco-messages will be judged by a special panel featuring the actors Violeta Markovska and Ivan Yurukov from the popular Bulgarian TV series “Stolichani v poveche”. They were chosen not only because their characters in the series are vigorous environmentalists, but also because of the civil stance of both artists who are actively concerned with the preservation of our natural heritage.

The jury also includes Ms. Verjinia Dimitrova, director and owner of DICON GROUP, Tzvetelina Uzunova, manager of the PR agency VIPART, and Genoveva Gospodinova – project manager for the development of the National Information and Communication Strategy for NATURA 2000.

The motto proposals will be judged upon the following criteria:

  • Originality;
  • Brevity;
  • Compliance with the theme of NATURA 2000 in Bulgaria;
  • Targeting a specific audience.

The jury will select 10 of the most successful proposals, after which those proposals will be subjected to a vote on the Facebook page of the contest: Contest for NATURA 2000 motto.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three authors, and the youngest and the oldest participants in the contest will receive a specific reward – one year subscription to the magazine GEO Bulgaria.
